  • The Guardian Features Whalley

    Guardian Pic of Whalley

“Our north of England editor points out some of the best places to take your tourist pounds… WHALLEY This beautiful Lancashire village on the outskirts of the Trough of Bowland has much to recommend… Whalley’s most famous sight is Whalley Abbey, whose ruins date back to the 14th century, when it was a Cistercian abbey, but the village is also the meeting point for the North and South Lancashire Cycleways, two circular routes covering 260 miles of outstanding scenery. Not far away is Whitewell, home of the Inn at Whitewell, famed for its cooking and appearance in Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon’s The Trip”

  • Reduce Muscle fatigue

Joanne Cornish Pilates is passionate about Pilates and about helping you achieve the body that you want. Pilates is a complete body exercise program which lengthens, tones and strengthens muscles to improve core strength, flexibility and muscle balance.

The apparatus is based on variable spring resistance which supports, encourages and challenges the use of the body’s own resistance, allowing a dynamic and adaptable range of exercises suitable for all levels of ability.

Pilates uses concentration, muscle control and breathing to allow you to become more aware of your body and to detect and correct imbalances leaving you feeling taller, toned, more relaxed, energised and stronger.

“I have experienced first-hand the benefit of Pilates to improve core strength, reduce muscle fatigue and relieve pain” Graham
